Lynnie Graburn Wonfor




Born and raised in California, Lynnie moved to Calgary in 1969.  She graduated from Seneca College in Ontario in 1973 as a visual arts instructor and has spent the past 4 decades teaching, traveling, furthering her education, creating  and more recently raising her three beauteous daughters.

Her art interests vary greatly, she has worked with clay, metal, fabric, silk, watercolour, wood, paper, acrylic , oils,charcoal,graphite and most recently steel and welding.

Creations include murals (on not necessarily flat objects), children’s furniture, a line of stationary, canvases, chandeliers, wall sconces and garden sculptures (concrete and steel) all inspired from her surroundings.

Lynnie’s work is in many notable private and corporate collections including those at AMOCO Canada (BP Energy Canada), Husky Oil, CIBC, The Bank of California and the Glencoe Club.

She hopes her works make people smile...
